Orwell is a village south east of Cambridge, and the Methodist Church is part of the Cambridge Methodist Circuit. There is a strong musical tradition, with a good organ, and also an excellent music group called Impromptu which occasionally take part in our services and concerts as well as leading services and concerts outside the area. We have a commitment to mission both local and world wide. A warm welcome awaits you!
Services take place at 11 am in the Methodist Church most Sundays throughout the year but occasionally times and venues change. Just Started is a Sunday Club for children aged between 3 and 11. It runs from 10:15am until 11:15 am every Sunday in the Methodist Church Schoolroom. The children do all sorts of things from cooking to listening to stories. IT’S GREAT FUN! and it’s all free! The Children have an hour of learning, playing games and making lots of noise and the last 15 minutes are spent in the church with the rest of the congregation and tell them all about what they have been doing.
Through out the year we have many events including coffee mornings, concerts, fetes, Christmas tree festivals and many other things. For dates click here
If you would like information on any of the events please e-mail me.
